Saudi Arabia will develop 24 theme parks, 420 entertainment centers and 35 entertainment venues, and the country's tourism industry is booming.
With the joint efforts of the public and private sectors of the tourism industry, Saudi Arabia is expected to attract more than 100 million tourists per year by 2030.
Authorities have issued licenses for 24 theme parks and more than 420 entertainment centers under Saudi Vision 2030.
The first Transformers attraction, spanning over 10,000 square meters, will open in Riyadh, with two more at SEVEN's other entertainment destinations. SEVEN is investing more than SAR 50 billion (US$ 13 billion) in 21 entertainment venues in 14 cities in Saudi Arabia.
Upcoming projects are located in 14 cities in the kingdom:
Riyadh, Haji, Mecca, Jeddah, Taif, Daman, Khobar, Hasa, Medina, Yanbu, Apo, Dizang, Buraydah, Tabuk
In addition, the Saudi Entertainment General Administration plans to add 350 theaters and 2,500 screens, which will create more than 30,000 jobs.
The Saudi gaming industry is expected to grow by 250% by 2030.
